Join us on a leisurely two-week tour of Rajasthan, planned carefully for Bengali families who enjoy travelling together in comfort. We visit the grand palaces of Jaipur, the serene waters of Udaipur, and the golden desert landscape of Jaisalmer. An experienced tour manager from our team escorts the group from Kolkata throughout the entire journey. Day-by-day plan

    Departure from Kolkata

    Assemble at Howrah or Sealdah station and board your scheduled train towards Rajasthan for the overnight journey.

    Arrival in Jaipur

    Spend the day on the train enjoying the countryside, arriving in Jaipur by evening where you are transferred to your hotel.

    Jaipur Sightseeing

    Visit the magnificent Amer Fort, view the Jal Mahal palace in the water, and see the Hawa Mahal and City Palace.

    Jaipur to Udaipur

    Depart Jaipur in the morning and travel to Udaipur, checking into your hotel upon arrival in the evening.

    Udaipur Palaces and Lakes

    Sightseeing around Udaipur including the grand City Palace complex, Jagdish Temple, and the promenade along Lake Pichola.

    Udaipur Local Visits

    Visit the gardens of Saheliyon-ki-Bari and scenic Fateh Sagar Lake, followed by free time to explore the local markets.

    Udaipur to Jodhpur Transit

    Travel across Rajasthan towards the western region, halting for an overnight stay to keep the road journey comfortable.

    Arrival in Jaisalmer

    Continue onward to the desert town of Jaisalmer, check into your hotel, and spend a quiet evening by Gadisar Lake.

    Jaisalmer Fort and Havelis

    Explore the famous yellow-sandstone Jaisalmer Fort, known as Sonar Kella, along with the historic Patwon ki Haveli.

    Kuldhara and Sam Sand Dunes

    Visit the deserted village of Kuldhara before heading to Sam Sand Dunes in the late afternoon for the desert sunset.

    Jaisalmer to Boarding Station

    Travel from Jaisalmer to the designated railway station to begin your return journey towards West Bengal.

    Return Train Journey Begins

    Board your return train to Kolkata and settle in for the long-distance journey across the northern plains.

    Train Travel towards Kolkata

    Spend the full day on the train travelling comfortably in the company of fellow group members.

    Arrive at Howrah or Sealdah station in Kolkata with lasting memories of your family holiday across Rajasthan.

  • Carry light woollens as temperatures drop considerably during desert nights in Jaisalmer.
